Happy New Year!

This year we spent ringing in the New Year at home. We opted out of a traditional sit down dinner and went for hors d'oeuvres and snacks to munch on till the ball dropped.

Luke didn't quite make it awake to the new year. He didn't have a nap during the day and he was just exhausted. He was so tired that he allowed Josh to rock him to sleep. I in turn had to steal him and hold him like a sweet baby. It was bittersweet since he's getting so big and it's a good bet by next New Year we won't be able to hold him so sweetly.
Izzy and Bear were very energetic. They entertained us by playing Disneyland Adventure on the Kinect. I have to say it's a great game for kids. They played for over an hour and we had to make them turn it off so we could get ready to watch the ball drop. Izzy and Bear enjoyed Shirley Temples while Josh and I enjoyed a glass each of yummy champagne. It was a perfect night with our sweet family.
Dear Izzy, Bear, & Lou,
Happy New Year! We look forward to 2012 and watching you all blossom into even more beautiful people. You make us proud. We are truly blessed that God trusted us with each one of you.
Hugs, kisses, and giggles,
Mommy & Daddy
